Path 2 Fit Principles

1. Get Started

 Take the first step, plan the second step and EXECUTE. 

2. Adapt

As the world around you changes, adapt – but never quit on your PATH 2 FITNESS

3. KISS – ‘Keep it SIMPLE, Stupid’

  

Simplify fitness. Focus on the fundamentals.

4. Move More

  

Exercise Consistently, Buy in and Trust the Process – You don’t need the specific program, or trainer – just move more. Go for a walk a day, 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, then try an incline walk or a jog! Keep it SIMPLE.

5. Eat Better

  

I said better. That doesn’t mean you need a specific diet or that you must track calories to the day you die. It just means better; it also means enough.

6. Identify your goals

 Identify your goals and be honest with yourself. Dig deep to find your why. Your why, not someone else’s.

7. Prioritize sleep

One of the most well researched, and well understood parts of a healthy human. Ditch the ‘college try’ and get this done – like the disciplined and hard-working adult you are. 

8. Drink more water

9. Time is your greatest asset

  

Time, like most investments – the returns take time, there is no replacement for that. Putting energy and time into your health will provide you a return that includes…TIME.

10. Check the credentials

 Check the credentials of who you listen to and keep an eye out for red flags that indicate arrogance and ignorance.  

11. Keep your BS Meter On

Your health and well-being deserve it!

12. Push yourself to reach your potential

  

You will have setbacks and it will not be easy. Every setback and every challenge are learning opportunities – to learn YOUR strengths and YOUR weaknesses…not just to chat about your strengths or hide behind your weaknesses…but to adapt. Keep adapting until you reach your potential for success, happiness, and better mental, physical, and emotional health.
